The travel bug bit me when I boarded my first flight as a Girl Scout back in 1987 and headed to Wyoming. Since then, I’ve visited as many towns, cities, states, and countries as I can fit in my schedule and budget. Last count: 30 countries.
My educational experiences have also been international. As an undergraduate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I spent my junior year at the University of Nottingham in England. I later received a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship for a year of study in South Africa at Rhodes University, where I earned an Honours degree and my MA in English.
These photos reflect my love of place and the inspiration travel brings. My travelogues can be found here
